Have Fun Doing It

Taking in all of these things I've taught you, it's really important you have fun spreading the gospel, and being involved. Here are some ways, you can have fun:
  1. Play a game that relates to the Bible, by spreading the gospel.
  2. Set up luncheons, with unsaved friends, so you can talk about our wonderful savior.
  3. Throw parties. Invite unsaved friends to your parties. Also invite your saved friends to your party. Tell your saved friends to befriend the others, so they will be influenced in a Christian manor.
  4. Be fun. You can't have fun without having a good attitude.
  5. Spread love to others. Others will want to be around you more, if you're a loving person. More people, generally means more fun.
  6. Respect others.

Accepting the Rose

Hello, today I am here to talk about accepting the rose. When I say accepting the rose, I'm saying accepting the gift of God. Accepting God's gift is very simple, it's like accepting a gift from your friend. First your friend says,"I want you to have it." Then you say,"Well if you insist''. Then you take it. That's how the gift of God works. First God says,"I want you to have my gift of eternity in heaven." And then it's time for you to decide. If you want to accept the gift of God, you just have to say a prayer that says: "God, I'm sorry. I have sinned. I know I don't deserve to go to heaven, I deserve to go to hell. But I'm not praying this prayer to get fireproof, I'm praying it, because I know you are the one and only God. Thanks so much God, I love you." If you prayed that prayer, and truly meant it with your heart, you have accepted God's gift. You are saved. No one can take that away from you. But you will endure tough times, especially in our day in age. But, if you said that prayer, please tell me. You can post a comment, saying you were saved. Or you can send me an email to basketballjon888@aol.com. Now that your saved, go spread the Good News. Tell everyone about Jesus Christ.

Acts 16:31 -
They answered, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you and your family will be saved.

Loving Your Enemies

Playing the Wii. The Wii entertainment system is a great way to relax on your time off. Now, as you might not be able to see, the game this man is playing, is Wii Boxing. As you may know in boxing, you punch people. In real life that isn't okay. But in the video game perspective it is. So, why would punching people on a video game be okay, if you shouldn't do it in real life. Well it's not okay. Sure, I know "It's just a game", but I can't see how punching people is loving everyone, including your enemies. I also can't see how this [punching] will bring you closer to God. Yes, it's okay to play the Wii, or any other console, on your time off. But play the Wii, or watching TV, should not be our idle. We should look to God when we have a lot of stress, not to any electronic device. Because no electronic device can get us to heaven. An electronic device, didn't create us. God created us, and the only way we can go to heaven, is through Him. No one, and nothing else. Looking at this rose, I see the love of Christ towards others. Including you and me. What did you do today. Porn, drugs, alcohol, bad language. It doesn't matter. God loves you, for who you are.

Matthew 5:44 - But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!

Reading the Bible

Hello, I would like to talk about the importance of reading your Bible. Bible reading is the start of a great relationship with God. O my blog, we will start to discuss my daily readings. Everyday I will read a section of my bible (quiet-time) and then discuss it here. I will show you how the Bible strongly relates to what I have written in my previous posts. This will show you how you can be involved in your church and make a difference, on a personal, and biblical level.

Luke 10:27 -
And he, answering, said, Have love for the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and for your neighbor as for yourself.

Making a Difference

You might have read "Getting Involved"(my first post) and thought "Yeah, I would like to make a difference, but how can I using the principles you taught me?" Easy. Here is a list of how to make a difference in your church, and in your community.
  1. Use your Biblical studies, to teach others the Word of Christ, to everyone
  2. Pray for others, including your enemies (which is very difficult)
  3. Show others worshiping God is more than a song. By showing them there are many different ways to worship God.
  4. Use language that would be addressed by a Christian, more people will realize God really is in your life, if you are nice and have appropriate language.
  5. God is first. Others are second. We are third. By that example, you realize we are to treat others better than ourselves, and treat God better than others.
Tell everyone about Jesus, before He comes.

Revelation 22:7 - “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

Getting Involved

Hello, you may not know me. I am Jonathan, a resident of the United States, and I am here to help you get involved in your church. First of all I will give the facts. Over 80% of so called Christians do not attend church. Over 50% of churches do not have Wednesday night services. And only 15% of so called Christians attend Sunday (the Lords' day) night services. Now, I did not mean to say that YOUR not involved, I am just saying that statistically your NOT involved. Sad I have to say that, because our world has gone a long way.

Here are some ways you can get involved in your church:
  1. Go to church
  2. If offered, go to Wednesday night church
  3. Worshiping God is more than just going to church.
  4. Read your Bible and pray everyday (that kid song is right, if you read your Bible and pray everyday, you will grow, grow, grow.)
  5. Worship is more than a song
  6. DO HARD THINGS (read the book DO HARD THINGS)
I will try to post every day, if I can't I will post at least 4 times a week. Please continue to read my Blog, and tell everyone about it. But most importantly tell everyone about Jesus.

Mark 16:15 -
And then he told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.
